Every teacher, principal, supervisor, or other person employed by a Board of Education shall keep such records and shall make such reports as may be required by the state Superintendent of Schools, and such records shall be kept and such reports shall be made according to the forms and blanks prescribed and furnished by the state superintendent. Teachers shall also keep such other records and make such other reports as may be required by the board of Education employing them.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 18A-5-5
- Principal: means a professional educator who functions as an agent of the county board and has responsibility for the supervision, management and control of a school or schools within the guidelines established by the county board. See West Virginia Code 18A-1-1
- State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
- Supervisor: means a professional educator who is responsible for working primarily in the field with professional and other personnel in instructional and other school improvement. See West Virginia Code 18A-1-1
