The provisions of sections nine and ten, article six, chapter twelve of this code to the contrary notwithstanding all community infrastructure revenue bonds issued pursuant to this article shall be lawful investments for the West Virginia state Board of Investments and shall also be lawful investments for banking institutions, societies for savings, building and loan associations, savings and loan associations, deposit guarantee associations, trust companies, insurance companies, including domestic for life and domestic not for life insurance companies.

Terms Used In West Virginia Code 31-19-14

  • Board: means the West Virginia community infrastructure authority board created in section four of this article, which shall manage and control the West Virginia community infrastructure authority. See West Virginia Code 31-19-3
  • Revenue: means any money or thing of value collected by, or paid to, the West Virginia community infrastructure authority in connection with any community infrastructure project or as principal of or interest, charges or other fees on loans, or any other collections on loans made by the West Virginia community infrastructure authority to counties or municipalities to finance in whole or in part the acquisition, renovation, repair or construction of any community infrastructure project or projects, or other money or property which is received and may be expended for or pledged as revenues pursuant to this article.   • State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
