33.24 County board may establish district.
33.24(1)
(1) Notwithstanding § 33.01 (3), in this section, “district” does not include a restructured district.
33.24(2)
(2) The county board of any county may establish districts within the county if the conditions stated in § 33.26 are found to exist. Before a district that includes any portion of a city or village may be formed under authority of this section, the city council or village board must have previously approved the inclusion of its territory within the boundaries of a proposed district.
