Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 153.60

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed; "year" alone means "year of our Lord". See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01

Subject to s. 153.455, the department shall, by the first October 1 after the commencement of each fiscal year, estimate the total amount of expenditures under this subchapter for the department for that fiscal year for data collection, database development and maintenance, generation of data files and standard reports, orientation and training provided under s. 153.05 (9) (a) and contracting with the data organization under s. 153.05 (2r).
