Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 180.1006

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Following: when used by way of reference to any statute section, means the section next following that in which the reference is made. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
   (1)   The name of the corporation.
   (2)   The text of each amendment adopted.
   (3)   If an amendment provides for an exchange, reclassification or cancellation of issued shares, provisions for implementing the amendment if not contained in the amendment itself.
   (4)   The date on which each amendment was adopted.
   (5)   A statement that the amendment was adopted in accordance with s. 180.1002, 180.1003 or 180.1005, whichever is the case.
