Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 180.1133

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

A business combination of a corporation that has a provision of the articles of incorporation permitted by s. 180.0727 is subject to s. 180.1131 unless one of the exemptions of s. 180.1132 has been met.
