Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 180.1825
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
A statutory close corporation need not adopt bylaws if provisions required by law to be contained in corporate bylaws are contained in the articles of incorporation or in an agreement authorized under s. 180.1823.
