A court-martial may direct punishment on any person who does any of the following:
Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 322.090
- Following: when used by way of reference to any statute section, means the section next following that in which the reference is made. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
- Officer: means a commissioned or warrant officer. See Wisconsin Statutes 322.001
- Person: includes all partnerships, associations and bodies politic or corporate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
- Superior commissioned officer: means a commissioned officer superior in rank or command. See Wisconsin Statutes 322.001
(1) Strikes his or her superior commissioned officer or draws or lifts up any weapon or offers any violence against him or her while he or she is in the execution of his or her office.
(2) Willfully disobeys a lawful command of his or her superior commissioned officer.
