- Highway: includes all public ways and thoroughfares and all bridges upon the same. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
The authority in charge of maintenance of a highway on which is located a bridge or approach thereto which constitute an undue traffic hazard, if used by pedestrians for the purpose of fishing or swimming, may erect signs prohibiting the fishing or swimming off of such bridge or approach.
