Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 616.76
- Commissioner: means the commissioner of insurance, or the commissioner's assistants or deputies, or other persons authorized to act for the commissioner. See Wisconsin Statutes 616.71
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- in writing: includes any representation of words, letters, symbols or figures. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
- State: when applied to states of the United States, includes the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the several territories organized by Congress. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
No service contract shall be executed, issued, or delivered in this state until the form thereof has been approved in writing by the commissioner.
