Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 632.8985
- Qualified: when applied to any person elected or appointed to office, means that such person has done those things which the person was by law required to do before entering upon the duties of the person's office. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
- State: when applied to states of the United States, includes the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the several territories organized by Congress. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
(1) In this section, “abortion” has the meaning given in s. 253.10 (2) (a).
(2) A qualified health plan, as defined in 42 U.S. Code § 18021 (a), that is offered through any American health benefit exchange, as described in 42 U.S. Code § 18031, that is operating in the state may not cover any abortion the performance of which is ineligible for funding under s. 20.927.
