Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 814.72

  • Attachment: A procedure by which a person's property is seized to pay judgments levied by the court.
  • Writ: A formal written command, issued from the court, requiring the performance of a specific act.

For appraisals under s. 815.19, each appraiser shall collect a fee of $8, plus $10 per hour. The fee shall be paid by the officer and returned as a disbursement on the writ of attachment or execution.
