Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 879.67
- Personal representative: means a person, however denominated, who is authorized to administer a decedent's estate. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
- State: when applied to states of the United States, includes the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the several territories organized by Congress. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
- Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
If it is necessary to serve upon a personal representative any order, notice or process of the court, and service cannot be made in this state, service may be made under s. 801.11 (1) for the service of summons.
