Terms Used In Wisconsin Statutes 898.09
- Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.
- Sworn: includes "affirmed" in all cases where by law an affirmation may be substituted for an oath. See Wisconsin Statutes 990.01
The prisoner, after being so discharged, shall be forever exempt from arrest or imprisonment for the same debt unless the prisoner shall be convicted for having willfully sworn falsely upon his or her examination aforesaid or in taking the oath before prescribed.
