It is the purpose of Alaska Stat. § 14.30.18014.30.350 to

(1) provide an appropriate public education for each child with a disability in the state who is at least three years of age but less than 22 years of age;

Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 14.30.180

  • state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(2) allow procedures and actions necessary to comply with the requirements of federal law, including 20 U.S.C. § 14001482 (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
