Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 14.43.100

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • person: includes a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, as well as a natural person. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060
(b) A person whose loan application is not approved by the executive director of the commission may appeal to the commission and the commission shall consider the application.
