Alaska Statutes 14.43.420 – Limitation on grants

(a) A grant made under Alaska Stat. § 14.43.400 – 14.43.420 may not be in an amount that exceeds $4,000 for each school year.

state: means the State of Alaska unless applied to the different parts of the United States and in the latter case it includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Alaska Statutes 01.10.060

(b)[Repealed, Sec. 31 ch 63 SLA 2004].

(c) A student may receive not more than a total of $16,000 in grants awarded under Alaska Stat. § 14.43.400 – 14.43.420.

(d) The commission may apply the amounts awarded under Alaska Stat. § 14.43.400–14.43.420 to a state match required by federal grant programs under 20 U.S.C. §§ 1070c-2.
