The purpose of Alaska Stat. § 18.20.140 – 18.20.220 is to make an inventory of existing hospitals and medical facilities, community mental health centers, and facilities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities; to survey the need for construction of hospitals and medical facilities, community mental health centers, and facilities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and to develop a program and plan of construction for each.
