Retirement benefits for employees of the auxiliary organization may be provided under contract with the Public Employees’ Retirement System in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Public Employees’ Retirement Law (Part 3 (commencing with Section 20000) of Division 5 of Title 2 of the Government Code), or may be provided by other than the Public Employees’ Retirement System.
