(a) In any fiscal year in which funds are received into or expended from the Farm to Fork Account, the department, no later than December 31 following the close of the fiscal year, shall submit to the Legislature an overview of the account’s income and expenditures.
(b) A report to be submitted pursuant to this section shall be submitted in compliance with § 9795 of the Government Code.
Terms Used In California Food and Agricultural Code 49003
- Department: means the Department of Food and Agriculture. See California Food and Agricultural Code 32
- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
(c) Pursuant to § 10231.5 of the Government Code, this section is repealed on January 1, 2025.
