Before selling unimproved property within the State Route 710 corridor in the City of Los Angeles pursuant to § 118 of the Streets and Highways Code, the Department of Transportation shall offer to sell the property at the price paid by the Department of Transportation for original acquisition to a housing-related entity for affordable housing purposes, pursuant to the terms and conditions provided in subdivision (c) of Section 54239.1.

Terms Used In California Government Code 54239.2

  • City: includes "city and county" and "incorporated town" but does not include "unincorporated town" or "village. See California Government Code 20
  • offer: means to solicit proposals prior to sale in a manner calculated to achieve a sale under the conditions specified, and to hold the offer open for a reasonable period of time, which shall be no more than one year, unless the time is extended by the selling agency at its discretion, for a period to be specified by the selling agency. See California Government Code 54236
  • State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Government Code 18
  • Subdivision: means a subdivision of the section in which the term occurs unless some other section is expressly mentioned. See California Government Code 10
