Any person aggrieved by the denial or revocation of a license under this chapter may appeal therefrom in accordance with the provisions of section 4-183, except venue for such appeal shall be in the judicial district within which the assembly was to gather. Such appeal shall be privileged.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 19a-441
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
- Assembly: means a company of persons gathered together at any location at any single time for any purpose. See Connecticut General Statutes 19a-435
- Person: means any individual, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, firm, company, association, society or group. See Connecticut General Statutes 19a-435
- Venue: The geographical location in which a case is tried.
