Examinations for the purpose of examining applicants for licenses as embalmers shall be upon the questions prescribed by the Commissioner of Public Health with the advice and consent of the board.

- Advice and consent: Under the Constitution, presidential nominations for executive and judicial posts take effect only when confirmed by the Senate, and international treaties become effective only when the Senate approves them by a two-thirds vote.
- Board: means the Connecticut Board of Examiners of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-207
