No licensed embalmer shall sign an affidavit attesting the preparation or embalming of any body unless such body has been prepared or embalmed by such licensed embalmer, or by a registered apprentice embalmer under such licensed embalmer’s personal supervision.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 20-215
- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
- Licensed embalmer: means an embalmer holding a license as provided in this chapter. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-207
- Registered apprentice embalmer: means a person registered with the Department of Public Health as an apprentice pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. See Connecticut General Statutes 20-207
