(a) Whenever an extended benefit period is to become effective or is to be terminated in this state, the administrator shall make an appropriate public announcement.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 31-232g
- Administrator: means the Labor Commissioner. See Connecticut General Statutes 31-222
- State: means any state of the United States and shall include the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands on the day after the day on which the Secretary of Labor accepts an unemployment insurance law submitted by the Virgin Islands. See Connecticut General Statutes 31-222

(b) Computations required by the provisions of subdivision (6) of subsection (a) of section 31-232b shall be made by the administrator, in accordance with regulations prescribed by the United States Secretary of Labor.
