Notwithstanding the provisions of this chapter or any employment requirement, an appointing authority may begin the screening process as soon as the applicable job opening is posted.
Terms Used In Connecticut General Statutes 5-215b
- Appointing authority: means a board, commission, officer, commissioner, person or group of persons or the designee of such board, commission, officer, commissioner, person or group of persons having the power to make appointments by virtue of a statute or by lawfully delegated authority.
