§ 805. Records. Nothing in this article shall be construed to affect the authority of a public retirement system to require that evidence of service be based upon records kept in the ordinary course of business.
Terms Used In N.Y. Retirement and Social Security Law 805
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
- Public retirement system: shall mean the New York state and local employees' retirement system, the New York state and local police and fire retirement system, New York state teachers' retirement system, New York city employees' retirement system, New York city teachers' retirement system, New York city police pension fund, New York city fire department pension fund and the New York city board of education retirement system.
