Terms Used In 19 Guam Code Ann. § 41308

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Legacy: A gift of property made by will.
A gift in view of death must be treated as a legacy, so far as relates only to the creditors of the giver.
