Terms Used In 19 Guam Code Ann. § 9113
- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
The power of a guardian appointed by a parent is superseded: (a) By his removal, as provided by § 9114;
(b) By the solemnized marriage of the ward; or
(b) By the solemnized marriage of the ward; or
(c) By the ward’s attaining majority.
