Under the Hawaii Revised Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

Any person violating this chapter, or any rule or regulation of the department of health relating thereto, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Except as herein otherwise provided, the punishment therefor shall be the same as provided by § 321-18.
