Terms Used In Idaho Code 67-7443
- Commission: means the Idaho state lottery commission. See Idaho Code 67-7404
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Director: means the director of the lottery. See Idaho Code 67-7404
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: shall be construed to mean and include an individual, association, corporation, club, trust, estate, society, company, joint stock company, receiver, trustee, assignee, referee or any other person acting in a fiduciary or representative capacity, whether appointed by a court or otherwise, and any combination of individuals. - Property: includes both real and personal property. See Idaho Code 73-114
Members of the commission, the director, and the employees of the lottery shall not directly or indirectly, individually, or as a member of a partnership, or as a shareholder of a corporation, or as a participant in a joint venture or association with any other person, have an interest in dealing in a lottery or in the ownership or leasing of property used by or for a lottery. Any member of the commission or lottery employee who violates the provisions of this section shall be immediately removed from any position with the lottery.
