Terms Used In Idaho Code 67-9004
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Partnership: means the Idaho rural development partnership established by section 67-9004, Idaho Code. See Idaho Code 67-9003
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories. See Idaho Code 73-114
- Tort: A civil wrong or breach of a duty to another person, as outlined by law. A very common tort is negligent operation of a motor vehicle that results in property damage and personal injury in an automobile accident.

There is hereby created an independent public body corporate and politic to be known as the "Idaho rural development partnership," which shall be a public instrumentality of the state and its exercise of the powers conferred by this chapter is and shall be deemed to be the performance of essential public functions and purposes. The Idaho rural development partnership shall be exempt from taxation, and shall be an entity of the state of Idaho as provided in the tort claims act, chapter 9, title 6, Idaho Code, and shall be entitled to all the protection as provided in the tort claims act, chapter 9, title 6, Idaho Code.
