- Air pollution: means air pollution as defined in section 39-103, Idaho Code. See Idaho Code 39-6705
- Air quality plan: means the comprehensive air quality management plan for a specified regional area as developed and modified by a regional air quality council. See Idaho Code 39-6705
- Citizens committee: means the committee consisting of members of the public created pursuant to section 39-6704, Idaho Code, by an air quality council established under the provisions of this chapter. See Idaho Code 39-6705
- Concurrent resolution: A legislative measure, designated "S. Con. Res." and numbered consecutively upon introduction, generally employed to address the sentiments of both chambers, to deal with issues or matters affecting both houses, such as a concurrent budget resolution, or to create a temporary joint committee. Concurrent resolutions are not submitted to the President/Governor and thus do not have the force of law.
- Council: means a regional air quality council established pursuant to this chapter. See Idaho Code 39-6705
- design value: means the statistic that describes the air quality status of a given location relative to the level of the national ambient air quality standards. See Idaho Code 39-6705
- Oversight: Committee review of the activities of a Federal agency or program.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- person: includes a corporation as well as a natural person;

Specified regional area: means a county or counties, or a defined geographical area, where air quality is threatened. See Idaho Code 39-6705 State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories; and the words "United States" may include the District of Columbia and territories.
