- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
The Partnership may receive funding through specific appropriations available for its purposes made to the Department. Moneys appropriated to the Department for the use of the Partnership as provided in this Act shall not be disbursed to the Partnership until the Partnership certifies to the Department that it has received at least $3 in private matching funds for every $1 so disbursed.
