Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 20 ILCS 745/1-30
- Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
On or before January 31 of the next calendar year to occur after the last day of any State fiscal year in which the Partnership receives State funding, the Department shall submit to the General Assembly and the Governor a report describing the use of appropriated funds by the Partnership in the State fiscal year for which the funds were allocated.
