- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The Secretary of Financial and Professional Regulation and his or her designees shall have authority to adopt and enforce reasonable rules, directions, orders, decisions, and findings necessary to execute and enforce this Act and protect consumers in this State. The Secretary’s authority to adopt rules shall include, but not be limited to: licensing, examination, supervision, and enforcement.
