Terms Used In Indiana Code 12-10-13-4

  • office: refers to the long term care ombudsman office established by this chapter. See Indiana Code 12-10-13-4
  • ombudsman: means an individual or entity designated by the state ombudsman to investigate and resolve local complaints and concerns regarding the health, safety, welfare, or rights of residents. See Indiana Code 12-10-13-4.5
   Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “office” refers to the long term care ombudsman office established by this chapter. The term includes individuals approved to act in the capacity of ombudsmen by the long term care ombudsmen office.
