- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “person” means an individual, employer, employer association, nonprofit organization, for-profit organization, unit (as defined in IC 36-1-2-23), school corporation, charter school, accredited nonpublic school, research institution, health insurance plan, health insurance ministry, or any combination of these.
