director: refers to the director of the division of consumer protection appointed under IC 4-6-9-2. See Indiana Code 16-52-1-1
division: refers to the division of consumer protection created by IC 4-6-9-1. See Indiana Code 16-52-1-2

Sec. 1. As used in this article, “director” refers to the director of the division of consumer protection appointed under IC 4-6-9-2.
