Terms Used In Indiana Code 20-30-4-1

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • student: refers to a student who is enrolled in a school corporation in at least grade 6. See Indiana Code 20-30-4-1
   Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, “student” refers to a student who is enrolled in a school corporation in at least grade 6.
