Terms Used In Indiana Code 22-9-5-25
- employer: means a person engaged in an industry affecting commerce that has at least twenty-five (25) employees for each working day in each of at least twenty (20) calendar weeks in the current or preceding year and an agent of the person. See Indiana Code 22-9-5-10
- employment agency: has the meaning set forth in Section 701 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Indiana Code 22-9-5-11
- labor organization: has the meaning set forth in Section 701 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Indiana Code 22-9-5-14
Sec. 25. Each employer, employment agency, labor organization, or joint labor-management committee covered under this chapter shall post notices in a format accessible to applicants, employees, and members describing the applicable provisions of this chapter, in the manner prescribed by Section 711 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e-10).
