Indiana Code 27-1-36-28. Inaccuracy of RBC report filed by domestic insurer

Sec. 28. (a) If the commissioner determines an RBC report filed by a domestic insurer is inaccurate, the commissioner shall:

(1) adjust the RBC report to correct the inaccuracy; and

Commissioner: means the "insurance commissioner" of this state. See Indiana Code 27-1-2-3
domestic insurer: means any:
Indiana Code 27-1-36-8
insurer: includes :
Indiana Code 27-1-36-9.6
RBC: refers to risk based capital. See Indiana Code 27-1-36-16
RBC report: means the report required by section 25 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 27-1-36-20

(2) notify the insurer of the adjustment.

(b) A notice provided by the commissioner under subsection (a) must contain a statement of the reason for the adjustment.
