Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “insurer” means a company, a firm, a partnership, an entity, an association, an order, a society, or a system:
(2) entering into any of the kinds of contracts; or
(1) making any of the kinds of insurance;

- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
(3) providing any of the coverage;
