- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
Sec. 5. This chapter does not affect the right of any corporation that is, as of July 1, 1992, either existing under Indiana law or authorized to transact business in Indiana.
