Sec. 6. Each inspector, judge, poll clerk, assistant poll clerk, and election sheriff who is:
(2) not a resident of the precinct;
(1) a voter of the county; and

- Sheriff: means the sheriff of the county or another person authorized to perform sheriff's duties. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
