Terms Used In Indiana Code 33-41-2-4
- Court reporter: A person who makes a word-for-word record of what is said in court and produces a transcript of the proceedings upon request.
- Probate: Proving a will
- Reporter: Makes a record of court proceedings and prepares a transcript, and also publishes the court's opinions or decisions (in the courts of appeals).
Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “official court reporter” means any court reporter who is appointed as the official court reporter by the judge of any circuit, superior, or probate court in Indiana.
