Sec. 5. (a) When performing the real property reassessment duties under a county’s reassessment plan prepared under IC 6-1.1-4-4.2, a township assessor may receive per diem compensation, in addition to salary, at a rate fixed by the county fiscal body, for each day that the assessor is engaged in reassessment activities.
