Sec. 0.5. As used in this chapter, “criminal justice services and activities” means programs that assist:
(2) courts;
(1) law enforcement agencies;

- Probation: A sentencing alternative to imprisonment in which the court releases convicted defendants under supervision as long as certain conditions are observed.
(3) correctional facilities;
(4) programs that offer probation services;
(5) community corrections programs; and
(6) public safety programs;
with individuals who have a history of substance use and who are suspected of having committed a felony or misdemeanor, have been charged with a felony or misdemeanor, or have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor.
