Terms Used In Indiana Code 9-30-6-14

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
(2) a certified copy of a court record concerning a previous conviction;

constitutes prima facie evidence that the person has a previous conviction of operating while intoxicated.
