Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 4 > Article 12 > Chapter 2 - Compensation of Officers and State Employees

  • Arrest: Taking physical custody of a person by lawful authority.

  • Public defender: Represent defendants who can't afford an attorney in criminal matters.
